RPAR3R00 - PA: Archiving - Reload Program for Long Term Documents (PA LDOC)
CPI1466 during Backup BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header dataThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Description
Report RPAR3R00 must be started from archive management (transaction SARA).
Please read the documentation on this transaction in Extended help.
This report reloads archived long-term documents from the infotype log into the database.
You can reload an entire archiving session, or part of an archiving session. If you select 'Reload complete archiving run', all data of the archiving session is reloaded. Other selection options are not taken into account.
If you only want to reload part of the archive, you can specify a certain set of personnel numbers. You can reload data for applicants or employees. Other selection options are not possible.
When data is reloaded, the current archive is invalidated so that it cannot be read or reloaded. Data which is not reloaded is written to a new archive. The output list shows the number of the new archive. During a test run, the number of the opened archive is shown as the 'new archive'.
Be extremely careful when reloading data. Do not use an archive as a 'swap-out' file which is reloaded each time you need the data. Only archive data if you are sure it is no longer required in the system.
When you reload data, the 'Reloaded' flag is set in the 'Archived Objects' infotype (0283) for the subtype 'long-term documents' (0003). The 'Archived to' date is not changed.
Requirements
The archiving object PA_LDOC must be archived using the archiving program RPAR3W00.
Output
If data has been reloaded, the number of reloaded objects, the number of objects in the new archive and the number of the new archive is output.
The detailed log contains control data which can be helpful in remedying errors.
Example
You have archived data which is still required in the production system. Remedy this error by reloading the entire archive. Then select the data which you really no longer require, and archive it.
