Description
- Reading absences in AB with APBB split.
- Country routines Absences (empty)
- Internal routines Absences; that is, AB processing
through T554C:
- Calculation of AB day and time fields, where necessary
- Calculation of day and time fields referring to the whole
absence, where necessary.
- Fill in CABC.
- Activate wage types in OT.
- Activate wage types in ZL.
Preparation of test data:
- MODIF (usually from FUNC. MOD) is always '01'.
- If PPT for FUNC.RAB is blank, a command PPT will be structured.
New developments that were not in 4.4:
- There is a limit of one PPT access per day, which is used for
record layout fields as well as CABC fields (new field
PARAM_STRING definition that tells routine PPT what to
calculate).
PARAM-STRING is filled in by the program.
In this case, the parameters are:
- Fill in only the data fields and provide KABW?
(AB time and day fields are already filled in. Record
layout fields for more than one period and KABW
have to be provided).
- Absence shorter than one day? (Another PPT access)
- Calculate within or outside of the period?
(For example, only fill in ABWSG when necessary).
- Calculate ABRxy fields? (Only access T554X when necessary).

Notes:
1: The Period is irrelevant if K/SB_ONLY has been activated as ON
given that K/SB_ONLY = ON implies that no AB time field will be
calculated.
2: ABRXY is irrelevant if SINGLE_DAY has been activated as
ON (even if ZL is ON, meaning that T554X information is
with a daily bais, given that SINGLE_DAY = ON implies that
a split could not be carried out, so that ABRxy could
be filled in in AB with a daily basis.
3: If SINGLE_DAY is active in OFF and ZL is active in
ON, ABRxy can be active in either ON or in OFF,
depending on whether there is RT/RH or not in the
ZL lines of T554X.
4: If SINGLE_DAY is active in OFF and ZL in OFF, it is not
necessary to read T554X as long as K/SB_ONLY = ON
implies that the AB time fields are correct-
- KABW includes new ATYPEs:
P = paid
U = unpaid
X = Paid public holiday
Y = Unpaid public holiday.
