Purpose

The RPCFANE0 program is used to manage, and if necessary, to correct the FAN files generated by the program for generating contribution models for Social Insurance, RPCTC0EO.

In certain cases, the FAN files generated by the RPCTC0E0 program are rejected by the RED System because they have not passed all the checks to which they are subjected. These checks may be subject to legal interpretations that are not covered by the RPCTC0E0 program and so these checks undergo continuous updates; and so, files that previously were accepted may be rejected.

The RPCFANE0 progam is used to resolve these rejections and to be able to deliver the files on time. It allows you to change the FAN files so that they comply with the requirements of the RED system.

Prerequisites

A previously generated FAN file must exist.

Features

Selection screen:

The program selection screen is divided into tabs that group related fields. Namely:

"Operation" Tab. Determines the operation that can be performed on the FAN file. The fields in this tab are checkboxes with the following functions:

  • Display:The file is not changed by the program.
  • Integrate Files: The program adds TemSe 1 and TemSe 2 files.
  • Filter TemSe 1 File: TemSe 1 file is filtered according to the content of the checkboxes in the "Filter" block.
  • Generate supp. Declaration: The program subtracts the TemSe 1 and TemSe 2 files so as to obtain a supplementary declaration with base differences, as if Temse 1 had been obtained with current payroll results and Temse 2 with results from previous payrolls.
  • Upload to Temse: The program requests a PC file to integrate it in FAN file format.

"Filter" Tab. These fields determine the segments that the program filters to create the FAN.

  • Contribution account code: filters the EMP segments for a CA code and their associated segments.
  • Qualifier: Filters the EMP segments and their associated according to the qualifier.
  • Period: Filters the DAT segments by periods and their associated segments.
  • Social Insurance number: Filters the TRA segments by social insurance number and their associated segments.
  • EDL Segments: Filters EDL segments according to the type and key of the specified segment. For example: CD07, CD01, etc.
  • Legal Reference: Filter EDL segments with allowances (EDLCD) according to the legal reference field.

"Datas for the EDT and TC1 segments" Tab.

  • Penalty surcharge:Penalty surcharge that will be applied to the resulting file (EDTCA90)
  • Recalculation of the EDT CA segments: Keys of the EDTCA segments that will be obtained by applying the contribution class to the sum of total of the bases specified in the EDLBA segments. The default values correspond to the calculation of installments made by the RED system. SAP recommends that you do not change these values.
  • Recalculation of the EDT CA segments per employee: Keys of the
  • EDTCA segments that will be obtained by adding the partial installments per employee. The default values correspond to the calculation of installments made by the RED system. SAP recommends that you do not change these values.
  • Total installment:The company and the employee installments in the EDTCA segments are calculated.
  • Company installment only: Only the company installment in the EDTCA segments is calculated.
  • Employee installment only:Only the employee installment in the EDTCA segments is calculated.
  • TC1 Printout: The TC1 form that corresponds to the TemSe 1 and Temse 2 files is obtained.
  • L13 Suppl. (print header.): The header "Supplementary settlement for differences or for refund of payments" is added to the printout of the L13 declaration.
  • TC2 List:The TC2 form that corresponds to the TemSe 1 file is obtained.

"List" Tab.The fields of this tab are checkboxes with the following functions:

  • Temse 1:The Temse1 file will be displayed as an interactive tree or as a list.
  • Temse 2:The Temse2 file will be displayed as an interactive tree or a list.
  • Negative FAN: The FAN file will be displayed with negative bases resulting from the subtraction of Temse2 from Temse 1.
  • FAN Message: The resulting FAN file will be displayed as an interactive tree or list.
  • Interactive tree:The FAN file is displayed in a tree structure. In this way, the file content can be edited.
  • List:The FAN file is displayed in a list.

After you have entered the FAN file that is to be handled in the selection screen and you have filled in the corresponding data, the program presents the file in a tree structure. By opening the nodes of this tree, you will be presented with the different segments of the file (TRA, DAT, EDL...).

Using the program's icon menu, you can change any field in the file. For example, the epigraph, the number of days or even a quantity. Likewise, the program allows you to delete and copy complete segments.

Once you have made the desired changes, press the calculator button to generate the final FAN file message. Press F7 to save the end file in the server.

Note:
Only experts must use RPCFANE0 this program and after a practice period it should not be difficult for these experts to exploit its possibilities. For example, two files can be integrated, two files can be subtracted by generating a a supplementary one or a penalty surcharge can be applied.

You will find more information in the consultancy note no. 907605.

Practical examples of how to use the program will be published in the documents that are attached to the note.
