Purpose

This report processes response messages. Response messages are sent by the tax authorities after:

  • A wage tax return has been received ('Confirmation' type);
  • The Tax Authority has validated the wage tax return and has found errors ('Error' type );
  • The Tax Authority has found inconsistencies between nominative and collective returns ('Warning' type);
  • The Tax Authority has found errors in nominative returns that can be adjusted before the tax return period expires ('Notification of Incorrect Nominative Return'(NINR));
  • The Tax Authority has found errors in the return that cannot be communicated via a NINR or that are still outstanding after the tax return period has expired ('Adjustment Obligation')

Integration

This report is started from the B2A Manager, the menu or, periodically, from a script, and it processes all downloaded response messages.

Prerequisites

For a successful processing of a response message the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:

  • You have the necessary read and write authorizations for the wage tax return of the legal person to whom the response message relates. This is checked using authorization object P_NL_LA06, with ACTVT = 01
  • The response message must have been downloaded from the Tax Authority FTP Server to the local PC or to the application server
  • The status of the wage tax return to which the response message belongs must be 'Sent'
  • The response message must not have been processed earlier.

Features

Selection

In the selection screen you can select the legal person(s) for whom response messages should be processed. You can only process response messages for legal persons for whom you have read authorization.

You can also indicate whether the response message should be downloaded from the client PC. If you choose this option, a dialog box is opened which you can use to select an XML file. Use this file to select and open the downloaded response message, upon which the response message is processed.

If you do not indicate that the response message should be downloaded from the client PC, all response messages that were downloaded to the application server location specified in HR_NL_LAA_IN (FILE transaction) are processed.

Standard Variants

Output

If the response message was processed successfully, the data is saved in the database. Successfully processed messages are moved from file location HR_NL_LAA_IN to HR_NL_LAA_DONE (both are specified in the FILE transaction), if the application server´s response messages have been read.
