RPCLOG00 - Overview of Company Loans

Description

Report RPCLOG00 creates an overview of all existing company loans in the form 'Status begin - credit entry - repayment - status end'.
The Evaluation period parameter is used to define the evaluation period.

The evaluation produces results on the basis of the evaluation period. In other words, it includes all of the changes made within the evaluation period, even if such changes affect periods prior to the evaluation period because they were made on the basis of retroactive accounting runs, for example.

Please note that this does not necessarily represent the current status of the loan for the periods in question.

The entries that you make in the group box 'Editing of data' determine the subsequent level of detail. Choosing 'Loan' results in one line per loan. Choosing 'Loan and periods', on the other hand, results in an additional breakdown of the total amounts for each period with regard to credit entries and repayments. Periods before the start of the evaluation period (ie. only the amount of their differences are included in the totals) are flagged with an '*'.

Requirements

The loans must have been settled using HR loan accounting functionality.

Example

In December 1992, the employee receives a loan in the amount of $10,000.00. The repayment is accidentally specified in the amount of $100.00 and an accounting run is performed for December 1992.

In January, somebody notices the error. The repayment is changed, with retroactive effect, to the amount of $200.00. In January, the employee repays the amount of the difference (ie. $100.00) for December and the regular repayment amount of $200.00 for January.

There are now two repayments, each of which is in the amount of $200.00. Depending on the period for which the report is started, the following results are produced:

In the third example, the constituent parts of the amount of $300.00 can be seen for log level '2'. $100.00 originate from December 1992 (flagged with an '*') and $200.00 originate from January 1993.
