Purpose
You use this report to find the correct cost center assigned to the employee when he or she is terminated.
If the cost center details of the employee are not maintained in infotypes 0027, 1018 or 1001-K/011 relationship, the system allows you the option to create infotype 0027 by specifying the correct cost center assigned to the employee.
The following sets of checks are performed by the system to confirm if infotype 0027 are maintained for the employee and if not, to create infotype 0027 for the employee.
- If an employee is terminated, you can determine the last working day of the employee using the RH_GET_FIRE_DATE function module. You can also check if infotype 0027 is created for the employee using HR_READ_INFOTYPE function module. If records against the employee pernr exist in infotype 0027, check if the last working day is entered and is not equal to 31.12.9999. Replace the last working day to 31.12.9999 using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION function module. If records do not exist in infotype 0027, check if record exists under infotype 1018 for that employee against the position held by the employee.
- If the employee record exists under infotype 1018, get the cost center details using RH_COSTCENTER_OF_OBJECT_GET function module. Using the employee details stored in infotype 1018 record and the cost center details create infotype 0027 for the employee. If infotype 1018 record does not exist, check the position of the employee assigned to the cost center using K/011 where K is cost center and 011 is cost center assignment. If the cost center details of the employee exist in infotype 1001, use this detail to create infotype 0027 record using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION function module.
- If the cost center details of the employee do not exist in infotype 1001, check if the employee records are maintained in infotype 1018 against the Organizational Unit. If infotype 1018 record exists, get the cost center by using RH_COSTCENTER_OF_OBJECT_GET function module. Using the records maintained in infotype 1018 for the cost center create infotype 0027 for the employee. If the employee details do not exist in infotype 1018, check if the employee records are assigned through K/011 against the Organizational Unit. Here K is cost center and 011 is cost center assignment. Select the record from infotype 1001. If the cost center details of the employee exist in infotype 1001, use this detail to create infotype 0027 record using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION function module.
NOTE
If an employee is not assigned to any cost center, the system displays an error message stating that the employee is not designated to any cost distribution.

Selection
On the selection screen, perform the following activities:
- Enter the Personnel Number.
- Select the Test Mode checkbox to run the report in test mode If you do not select the checkbox, the report is run in productive mode and the system generates an output with the employee records
- Select NEW IT0027 ENTRY to create infotype 0027 for the employee. You do this after confirming that infotypes 0027, 1018 and 1001-K/011 are not maintained against the position or the Organizational Unit of the employee.
- Choose Cost Center to specify the unique cost center of the employee
Note that when you select NEWIT0027 ENTRY, the system first checks whether you have maintained the Cost Center for the particular employee on the selection screen. If this information is not maintained, the system then reads Infotype 0001 to acquire the Cost Center details.

Based on the selection criteria, the system displays the employee records maintained in infotype 0027.
