Purpose

This report enables you to display data required for the following:

  • Completing registration with The Pensions Regulator (TPR)
  • Do the Cyclical Automatic Re-Enrolment of employees into a pension scheme

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

Selection

  • In addition to the usual selection parameters, you must make the following settings in the Processing Optionsgroup box:
  • Choose between start of duties process and Re-enrolment process

  • Enter the duties start date or Cyclical Re-Enrolment Date (CARD)

  • In the Output Options group box, you can select the ALV layout that you want to use for the report output. In case you are running the report in background mode, make sure you choose the right layout because you cannot change it after the report run.

Standard Variants

Output

The report retrieves data for certain sections on the output screen as follows:

  • Duties Start Report
The report retrieves this data from the Start of Duties/Re-Enrolmenttab page on the Pensions Reform (3297) infotype. This tab page is updated by the Start of Duties/Re-Enrolment program, the use of which is optional. In case you do not run the Start of Duties/Re-Enrolment program, all fields in this section have zero values.
  • Master Data
The report retrieves this data from the Enrolment / Assessmenttab page on the Pensions Reform (3297) infotype.
  • Payroll Result
The report retrieves this data from the PAEtable in the payroll result.

Note

As opposed to the data in the Master Data and Payroll Result sections, the data in the Start of Duties Report section is optional and reflects an initial estimate. For this reason, even though the data is supposed to be identical across all three sections, it is very unlikely to be. You should base your registration with TPR on the data from the Master Data and Payroll Resultsections. In case they differ, you should investigate the reason for discrepancy. For example, the data may differ because you have not run the post payroll program, and therefore the data in the Pensions Reform (3297) infotype is not up-to-date.

Detailed view of employee data

Choose the Display Registration Records pushbutton on the output screen to get a detailed view of employees who have active employment statuses on the specified duties start date and whose duties start dates are the same as the one specified on the selection screen.

The following table shows the meaning of certain summary fields and how the report calculates their values:

Field Meaning Basis of Calculation

Number of automatically enrolled EJHs The number of eligible jobholders automatically enrolled into a specific scheme. Number of employees in the detailed view where worker category = EJH and value of Auto-Enrolment Scheme is not initial.
Number of postponement periods The date of the last day in the postponement period. Number of employees in the detailed view where postponement date is not initial
Number of EJHs in transitional periods The number of eligible jobholders subject to the transitional period Number of employees in the detailed list who have not been automatically enrolled, worker category = EJH and transitional period = Y
Number of EEs who are already members of a QPS The number of workers who were already active members of a qualifying scheme on your duties start date. Number of employees in the detailed who were neither automatically enrolled nor are eligible jobholders subject to a transitional period and whose QPS value is not initial
Number of other workers Number of workers who are not already accounted for in one of the above categories -
