This report is obsolete as since 2005, the data for the employment tax statement has to be sent to the clearing house of the tax offices.

Description

This report is used to display the employment tax statement

Function description

For each statement period (infotype 0012 tax data D) in the statement year, the system checks whether a general employment tax statement (employment tax card sticker), a special employment tax statement or no statement at all needs to be created.

  • A general employment tax statement (employment tax card sticker) is created for the statement periods in which the employee is fully subject to tax and has handed in an employment tax card.
  • A special employment tax statement is created for statement periods in which
  • the employee is fully subject to tax but has not handed in an employment tax card

  • the employee is partly subject to tax

  • the employee's income is taxed using a flat rate and child allowance has been paid by the employer for example.

  • For employees whose wages are taxed using a flat rate in accordance with §40a EStG, no statement is created.
  • A statement for part-time employees is created for the statement periods in which the employee has tax liability 'part-time employee' and has handed in a certificate of exemption.

Employment tax statements are created for

  • After each payroll for employees who have left the company. The 'Only Former Employees' field needs to be selected for this purpose.

  • all employees after tax closing of the old year. Start the report with the period 12YYYY (YYYY = reporting year) for this purpose.

When the annual statement is created, the the month when the employment tax statement was created is taken from characteristic DSTLB. In the case of the record for December in the statement for example, the system considers retroactive accounting that has been carried out up to and including the month of issue.
The annual statement can therefore be reproduced at any time.

When the statement is created for former employees, the most recent payroll results are taken.

The key date up to which payroll results are taken into account can be overridden using the non-visible report parameter 'KEY DATE'.
To do this, select the 'Variable' field for your variant by choosing 'Attributes - Change' and enter corresponding variable names in 'Selection Variables'. The values of these variables can be maintained in table TVARV.

Determining the amount in the statement from the previous year to determine differences to the SI wage types to be covered is also done using characteristic DSTLB.

Forms

The names for the standard forms maintained by SAP are DByy for the general employment tax statement, DCyy for the special employment tax statement and DFyy for the employment tax statement for part-time employees. 'yy' designates the year for the statement in question.

At present, the following forms are delivered:

  • DB00 or DC00 for 2000.

  • DB01 or DC01 for 2001.

  • DF00 for 2000 and 2001.

Note

The standard forms for the general employment tax statement (employment tax card sticker) DByy are based on the employment tax statement labels from KIESER.
The company's address is as follows:
Paul Kieser
Druckerei GmbH & Co KG
Oskar-von-Miller-Straße 1
86356 Neusäss

The statement forms for part-time employees are also based on stickers from Kieser. With print setting X_90_120, two statements can be printed on one side of DIN A4.

The special employment tax statement (form DCyy) can be printed on A4 paper with print setting X_90_120.

If you do not want to use the standard forms, you can create your own form (see below).

Print Control

If you want to print several general employment tax statements (employment tax card stickers) next to each other, you can vary the distance between the forms using the 'Form Width' parameter. The width of the standard formus DByy (yy = year) is 27 columns.

The 'Print Form in Background' parameter allows you to print texts together with the employment tax card sticker.

The margin distance in the print can be specified using the ' Distance Left/Upper Margin' parameter.

Address of Employer

The employer's address (company office for employment tax) is printed on the employment tax statement.
The assignment of company offices to the company office for employment tax is made using a characteristic (DZUBT in the standard system) that can be entered with report parameter 'Company Office for Employment Tax'.
For more information, see the documentation for this characteristic.

Modification of the Forms

Statement of Own Payroll Wage Types

If you want to create statements for your own payroll wage types, you have to modify table 512E, where the statement wage types are defined.
In this table, wage types are defined for Germany (country modifier: '01') for each form ID (standard: 'DByy', 'DCyy' or 'DFyy'). These wage types flow into the various statement wage types in the form.
When entering your payroll wage types that should be entered under a statement wage type, note the following:
Enter an 'S' in the 'Table Indicator (TI)' field. This defines that a payroll wage type from internal table SCRT (tax cumulation result table) should be included in the statement.
You can use the 'Arithmetic Operator' field ('+' = positive, '-' = negative) to determine whether the payroll wage type from table SCRT is incorporated into the statement wage type as a positive or negative value.

Form Print Control

Form Texts

The order that the texts appear in is dictated by their appearance in table 512P (arguments for standard forms: 'D01DBjj', 'D01DCjj', 'D01DFjj'). You can also print these wage type texts (parameter 'Print Form in Background').

Statement Wage Types and Key Words

Both the positions of the amounts or number field in the statement wage types (number 'U' for example) and the positions of the key words (such as name and start and end of employment) are defined using table T512Q in the 'Field Name', 'Row' und 'Offset' fields. For the standard forms, you can find these positions under the arguments '01DBjj', '01DCjj' and '01DFjj'.
In the 'Conversion' field, you can define for example whether the statement wage types should only be printed if the values of zero are different (conversion key 10).

Printing Additional Master Data Fields

If you want to print fields on the employment tax statement in addition to ones that you are legally obliged to enter, you can use a function exit.

To do this, modify function module EXIT_RPCSTBD0_001 accordingly.
Documentation for Function Module

Add enhancement PC012001 'HR-DST: User Exit for Employment Tax Statement RPCSTBD0' to a project using transaction CMOD 'Project Management of SAP Enhancements' and activate this project.

Creating Your Own Form

You can design your own form by maintaining the form tables T512E, T512P and T512Q.

Analyzed Tables

The address is stored in table T536A

The valid address is stored dependent on the address type "/A",
personnel area and the personnel subarea:

Row A: Name of Company,
Row B: Plant,
Row C: Street,
Row D: Post Code, Town

The tax office key is stored in table T5D0P.

The tax office key for each personnel subarea is stored under field "Famt".

The names of the months for child allowance are stored in table 015M.

The name of the month in which child allowance was last paid to the employee is stored under argument 'D'.
