RPIFBAN0 - Batch Input for Creating Infotype Adjustment Reasons (0378)

Purpose

Use this program to create a batch input session for infotype Reasons for Adjustment (0378). Simultaneous creation of this infotype with a BIS for an employee group is particularly relevant in the case of company events such as mergers or interim adjustments of the scheme. It can also be used if employees are allowed to make or adjust their choice at any time during the year. In the case of individual reasons for adjustment, it makes more sense to carry through the adjustments directly in the infotype.

Prerequisites

Employees must be assigned to a benefit area in infotype General Benefit Data (0171).

Features

Selection

In addition to the normal PNP options such as personnel area and employee group, a selection needs to be made for Benefit Area in Other Selection. This is a group of plans that apply to a certain branch of the organization, or that are used for the entire organization.

In Other Data, you can enter the reasons for adjustment that need to be registered.

Use the field Fixed Start Date for Infotype Record to enter the appropriate start date of the infotype record. The validity end date will be calculated automatically based on the setup in the Determine Reasons for Adjustment (V_FBN_T74HA) view (see IMG activity Determine Reasons for Adjustment.

Select the Create BIS option to create a BIS.

The Name of Batch Input Session will be the name under which the BIS will be saved in transaction SM35.

In the User Identification field, enter the name of the user that is to be recorded as the authorized user of the BIS.

Standard Variants

Output

If you have selected the Create BIS option, a Batch Input Session will be created.

You will also be given an overview of all employees for whom a record of infotype 0378 will be registered if you run the BIS.
