Conversion of Infotype Organizational Assignment (0001)
Purpose
This report enables you to copy the existing infotype Organizational Assignment(0001) record to a new record with a new start date.
For the new record, and for possible existing records with a validity starting after the selected date, the system forces an evaluation of the feature JUPER. If the feature does not return a value, the system evaluates the table T001P (Personnel Area/Subarea) for the value of the feature JUPER.
The system also evaluates other default values set in customizing (e.g. ABKRS) and set them in the new and modified records (i.e. in all records valid as of the start date).
The system creates a record of infotype Additional Actions (0302) for the start date, with the specified action type and reason. If this information is not given, the system does not create the record.
The original record is delimited to the day before the start date of the new record.
Integration
Prerequisites
The employee(s) to be processed must have a valid record of infotype Organizational Assignment (0001) including the date entered in the "Start Date" field.
Features
Selection
The following selection options are available:
In the selection box Period:
- Start and end dates for the person and data selection period;
- Selection criteria for employees and organization (personnel numbers, legal person, etc).
In the selection box Selection:
- Selection of single persons or groups using the field Personnel number or person(s) who have a defined legal person in Infotype 0001 using the field Legal person.
In the selection box Batch Input:
- Batch Input Session name and user name of the person creating the Batch Input Session (e.g. the system administrator);
- Screen Number of Infotype Organizational Assignment 0001 that the Batch Input Session shall use.
In the selection box New Infotype(s) Record Data:
- Start Date (mandatory), is the date as of which you need to convert the default fields for infotype Organizational Assignment (0001);
- Action Type and Reason for Action (optional) are the new values for the new infotype Additional Actions (0302) record; the record on the Infotype 0302 will only be created if these parameters are populated.
Standard Variants
Output
The system creates a list of (successfully or not) processed personnel numbers.
If the checkbox Create Batch Input had been flagged, a Batch Input map containing all persons and all data records of the list is created.
If the checkbox had not been flagged, a list of the data that would be generated in case of a productive run is displayed.
