Title
Absence History Breakdown
Purpose
Evaluation report to read and display absence information of employees. The report presents a detailed view on every single absence record, created in the infotype 'absences' (2001) and lists the different payment bands that will be paid during the absence.
Integration
During Absence Entry (Infotype 2001) it is possible to call this report using the "Absence Breakdown" button.
Obviously the report is ONLY called for the current Personnel Number and absence being interrogated/entered. Also the Further Selection Options are set to include ALL Day Types, Payment Bands and Absence Groupings. And the Report Format option is set to Full. (i.e. a complete day by day breakdown is shown.)
Prerequisites
Absence Evaluation Scheme customising must be complete.
Scope of Functions
The evaluations in this report are based on information, stored in infotype 'absences' and in the cluster during the payroll process. If sufficient history does not exist for an employee, i.e. their current payroll has not been run, then the necessary history is generated by this report.
The output is separated into a header and a detail line.
The header shows every person selected via "PNP Selection" (personnel number & name) and then general information about the absences that they have taken during the selected period (start and end of the original absence and the description of the absence itself).
The detail lines show, how each absence is split into different Payment Bands (i.e. how the absence will be paid and how the entitlements to these payment bands will be reduced).
Activities
In addition to the standard selection screen, it is possible to restrict data via Further Selection Options;
Day Types: If you want to report only on "Waiting Days", then mark the check box for "Waiting Days" and de-select the other four check boxes.
N.B. As default, 'Waiting Days', 'Non-Qualifying Days', 'Extension Days' and 'Reduction Days' are NOT automatically evaluated.
Payment Bands: Specific Payment Bands can be selected. (i.e. Full Pay or Nil Pay)
Absence Groupings: Specific Absence Groupings can be selected. (i.e. Maternity or Sickness)
