RPLBSSG0 - PY-GB: Benefits Summary Statement

Purpose
You use this report to generate a summary statement of the payrolled benefits that employees receive. Employees can use this information to complete the Self-Assessment Tax Return.
The report processes data for active employees who have at least one payrolled benefit. The report will also list any non-payrolled benefits of such employees.
Note
This report is relevant for you if you payroll benefits for your employees, and so you have activated node 15 or 16 of the Solution Changeover Date (GBCHG) feature in transaction PE03.
Integration
Prerequisites
You have made the following settings:
- Assigned your wage types to the Benefits Summary Statement (BSS) form template in Customising for Payroll United Kingdom under End-of-Year Processing → Benefits Summary Sheet → Define Non-PBIK Wage Types. (((v_t5g_dtobs)))
- Specified how your employees receive electronic Benefits Summary Sheets in Customising for Payroll United Kingdom under End-of-Year Processing → Benefits Summary Sheet → Determine Means of Electronic Communication.
- For employees who have requested no to receive an electronic Benefits Summary Sheet, you have made the necessary settings in infotype 3243.
- If you wan to send the BSS by e-mail, make the following settings:
- In transaction SU01, enter your e-mail address.
- This e-mail address is used as the sender's e-mail address.
- In Electronic Communication (infotype 0105), enter the e-mail addresses of employees to whom you want to send an Electronic BSS.
- Specify a standard text that you want to use in the e-mails for Electronic BSS in transaction SO10.
- To determine and include certain data in the report according to your own business logic, make the necessary settings in Customising for Payroll United Kingdom under End-of-Year Processing → Benefits Summary Sheet... (BAdIs)
- To be able to produce PDF forms, configure Adobe Document Services (ADS). You can use PDF1 device type. For more information search for the following in SAP Library at http://help.sap.com/:

Features
Selection
Apart from the standard selection parameters, specify the following:
- Tax Year Ending April 5th
- By default, the system enters the current year. You can change this value.
- Tax Reference
- If you specify the tax reference, the system automatically enters the relevant payroll areas in the corresponding fields.
- E-mail's Standard Text
- Specify the technical name of text that you want to use in the e-mail body for Electronics BSSs. You specify the e-mail body text in transaction SO10.
- Sender's E-Mail Address
- If you do not enter a sender's e-mail address the system will not send any Electronic BSSs to the employees.
Standard Variants
Output
You can select one of the following output options:
- PDF Form
- By default, the system offers a form template. You can use the template that is entered on the selection screen by default or you can enter your own form.
- For more information on how to use and customise form templates, refer to Providing Output Forms and Interactive Offline Forms on SAP Help Portal at https://help.sap.com.
- You can access the form via the Employee Self Service (ESS) or you can send it by e-mail.
- ALV
- You can display the report in SAP List Viewer (ALV). You can use the ALV Display Variants to change which fields are displayed. For more information on ALV, choose the i (Application Help) pushbutton on the output screen.
- TemSe
- You can generate a Temporary Sequential file (TemSe) in the background. You can use the generated file as a source for a subsequent run of the program in foreground.
- For more information on TemSe files, refer to TemSe Data Storage in SAP Printing Guide (BC-CCM-PRN) on SAP Help Portal at https://help.sap.com.
You can also select to generate an Electronic BSS by e-mail or make it available via ESS.
