Purpose

You use this report to update the status of an employee's child care leave benefits form in the system. You move along the form processing workflow and update the status to the following:

  • Created
    You have created the form.
  • Sent
    You have sent the form to the employee for confirmation.
  • Received
    You have received the form which has been signed by the employee.
  • Submitted
    You have submitted the form to the job placement office.
  • Notified
    The job placement office has notified the company of the notification result.
  • Sent to Employee
    You have sent the notification result to the employee.

In addition, the report enables you to create an employee's child care leave benefits form and wage certificate at leave. The report creates the child care leave benefits form in PDF and wage certificate at leave in SAPscript. You can print out the two forms and send them to the employee or submit them to the job placement office for benefits approval.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have filled out child care leave information in the Child Care Leave and Nursing Leave (3140) infotype and generated the child care leave benefits form from the infotype.

You have defined the action types that indicate that employees have returned to work in Customizing for Personnel Management under Personnel Administration -> Customizing Procedures -> Actions. The report reads the selected employee's action type in the Actions (0000) infotype and determines if he or she has returned to work.

Features

To display the forms, the report reads the master data of the selected employees from the following infotypes:

  • Actions (0000)
  • Organizational Assignment (0001)
  • Personal Data (0002)
  • Addresses (0006)
  • Recurring Payments/Deductions (0014)
  • Contract Elements (0016)
  • Family Member/Dependents (0021)
  • SI Basic Data JP (0140)
  • Commuting Allowance Info JP (0559)
  • Attendances (2002)
  • Child Care Leave and Nursing Leave (3140)

Selection

Report Date

Enter a date for which you are updating the form statuses. By default, the system fills the current calendar date in this field. When you update the form status from the report result, the system records the entered report date as the date when the form status is changed, for example, the creation date or submission date of a form.

In addition, the report produces the Child Care Leave and Nursing Leave (3140) infotype information that is active on this date and displays it in the forms.

Address

Specify the type of address that the report uses to output into child care leave benefits forms. By default, the system uses the address of an employee's permanent residence.

Action Type for Return

Specify an action type that indicates that employees have returned to work, for example, Reentry into Company.

Form Type

Select at least one type of form. The report retrieves form data based on the type you select.

Standard Variants

Output

The system displays form records of the selected employees in an SAP List Viewer (ALV) list. From the list, you have the following options:

  • Print form and wage certificate
    Select one or more entries in the result and choose the Print CLB or Print WCL pushbuttons.
  • Update the form status with the following pushbuttons:
Pushbutton Status Update
Set Status to Created Update a form without a status to Created
Set Status to Sent Update form status from Created to Sent
Set Status to Received Update form status from Sent to Received

Set Status to Submitted Update form status from Received to Submitted

Set Status to Notified Update form status from Submitted to Notified
Set Status to Sent to Employee Update form status from Notified to Sent to Employee

  • Refresh the status date with the specified report date on the selection screen. For example, select a form record with the Created status and choose the Set Status to Created pushbutton to update the creation date.

The system also tracks the errors or warnings that occur during report execution. To view the error or warning messages, choose the Display Message pushbutton.

Activities

To access this report, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Human Resources -> Payroll -> Asia/Pacific -> Japan -> Subsequent Activities -> Period-independent -> Reporting -> Child Care and Nursing Leave -> Status Update for Child Care Leave Benefits Form.
