Purpose

To prepare the year-end adjustment process, you have to collect information about employees' family dependants. You use this report to create the Employee's Income Tax and Family Dependant Tax Deduction form. You can distribute these forms to employees so that they can confirm if the information is correct.

If any employees find mistakes in their data, you correct the relevant master data.

Integration

Prerequisites

If you want to use PDF based forms, you must activate PDF-Based Forms in Customizing for Cross-Application Components under Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications->Activate PDF-Based Forms for SAP ERP .

To meet your individual requirements, you can define your own form name in Customizing for Payroll for Japan under Forms -> Form Output Settings.

Features

Selection

To select the required employees, enter criteria, for example, personnel numbers and a personnel area, in the Selection group box as required.

If you have activated PDF-based forms in Customizing, you specify the logical form name and logical form variant. The standard system contains the following form names:

  • If you want the report to print the form on plain paper in the format provided by the National Tax Agency, choose form name HR_JP_DTDJ0_Plain.
  • If you want the report to print the form in prescribed form provided by Nihon Hourei, choose form name HR_JP_DTDJ0.
Note:
You can use your own form name and variant to print out the form.
If you wish to use duplicable form paper offered by Nihon Hourei, set output device to impact printer and adjust format to 8.5 inches. If necessary, make detailed adjustments for each output fields.

If you want the report to check the selected employees' address and personal tax data with the data stored in the corresponding infotypes, select the Check IT0006and IT0145 checkbox. If you select this checkbox and you have not entered any address or personal tax data in the corresponding infotypes, the report rejects the employees and lists them in the error log.

Standard Variants

Output

The report sorts the results by employee's personnel number and prints out the PDF form.

Note: the system does not output the information that is printed on the back of the official form.
