RPLERDX0 - Information of Employee-Related Data

Purpose

This report provides information about the employee-related data saved in the system for a specific employee. To execute the report, you must have the personnel number of the employee and the date to determine the employer. In addition, you must specify a reason for executing the program.

You have two options for executing the report:

  • Display Data
The formatted information for all employee-related data is displayed in a tree structure (folders: Personnel Management, Organizational Data, and Personnel Development) containing the data for the relevant infotypes. This output can also be printed.
  • Generate PDF File
The formatted information for all employee-related data is saved as a local PDF file. In this output, all folders and subfolders are fully expanded.

Important: Each execution of the report is logged. As this report provides employee-related data, the user name, date and time of the execution, output areas, and the reason for the execution are saved in the table THRPAD_ERD_LOG. Using report RPUERDX0_DISP_LOG, you can display the entries of the log table.

Selection

To start the information retrieval, you need to make the following entries on the selection screen.

  • Personnel Number
    The personnel number of the user is displayed in this field if the report is started by the employee. Otherwise, you enter the personnel number of the employee here for whom you want the information to be provided.
  • Date of Employer Assignment
    Enter the date for which information is to be obtained regarding the organizational assignment. In most cases, the current date should be relevant. However, you can also evaluate an employer assignment from the past. For more information, see the field help.
  • Output Areas
    Select the areas that are to appear in the output. All active modules in the system are listed.
    You can make a multiple selection by holding down the Control button (CTRL) + clicking.
  • Reason for Information
    Select the reason for the execution here. Generally, this is a request for information from the employee.

Output

The output contains an overview of the employee-specific information that was previously selected on the selection screen through specification of the output areas.

  • Once you have started the information retrieval via Display Data, the formatted information for all employee-related data is displayed in a tree structure (folders: Personnel Management, Organizational Data, and Personnel Development).
If, without selecting individual folders, you directly choose Expand All ('+'), all folders are expanded fully and the data is displayed. If you select individual folders to view data, you can expand these fully by choosing Expand All ('+') and collapse them again.
You can expand single folders and subfolders, each of which contain data for an infotype, explicitly by clicking.
Employees can view their data on screen or have a printout issued.
  • If you have started the information retrieval by choosing Generate PDF File, a PDF file is created. Similarly to when you print, a spool request is initially generated, which is offered as a PDF file for download. The file is saved locally and can then be sent.
    If "Print Immediately" is activated for spool control in the user profile, the user is notified via a warning message. The spool request is deleted again after the file is saved.

Activities

Start the report as described using Display Data or Generate PDF File to make all information relevant to the employee available.

Special Execution for Developers for Analysis Purposes

An additional option for executing the report is available to developers. This is available in the menu under Information -> Execute with Log(F7). When the information is retrieved, technical information is hereby collected and output separately at the end of the tree structure on the output screen.
This form of output is intended for developers and should not be used for output for an employee.
