RPLGEB30 - Birthday list

Description

This report creates a list of employee's birthdays in a selected period and sorts them according to department (optional).

You use the employee's personnel number to determine their date of birth. To obtain the date of birth for a number of employees enter a range of personnel numbers.

You can limit your search by making entries under Selection. Enter the combined entries in the Pers.area/subarea/cost center, Controlling area/position and Employee group/subgroup fields (for example, 0001151510156 in the Controlling area/ /position field).

In addition you have the following search options:

• Generic search using *:

If you wish to evaluate all the cost centers in controlling area 0001, enter 0001*.

• Masked search using +:

If you wish to evaluate only some of the cost centers in controlling area 0001, abbreviate the cost center entry and replace the number of missing characters with + (for example 151510+++ ).

You can control the evaluation according to the age and department of the employee under Additional data. If you want to display the birth dates of employees in a certain age span, enter a lower age limit and an upper age limit in the corresponding fields. It is also possible to evaluate employees according to salary relevant birthdays (e.g. seniority bonus) or according to special birthdays (e.g. a fourtieth birthday). If you wish to sort according to department, flag the Sort by department indicator.

Output

A list is issued, which displays the personnel number, the name, the entry date, the date of birth and the age for all employees in the standard evaluation.

The reporting period is displayed above the table. Under the table the number of selected people is displayed under the Reconciliation totals.

If you have flagged the Sort by department indicator, a new evaluation table is displayed per department. In addition, birth dates are listed by day and month when the indicator is flagged.

Example

Determine an employee who should possibly receive a seniority bonus.
