BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header data BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Purpose
Prerequisites
If you are using a logical form for the output, you have made settings in Customizing under Tax > Wage Statement 2005 > Adjust Forms (CE).
Use
You use this program to create the wage statement from 2005 onwards (new wage statement) according to the legal requirements of the Swiss Tax Administration (ESTV).
The form is used for the following purposes:
- As a wage statement for the employee
- As a statement of remuneration and compensation for supervisory board members
- As a statement of pensions of the second pillar
The employer is required to generate a wage statement for each employee every year. This statement must list all payments or imputed income that the employee has received from the employment relationship. Analogous to that, the form must be generated as a pension statement by all Federal Law on Company Pensions institutions that pay a pension.
As of 2005, the new wage statement may be used. From the 2007 tax year, it applies across all of Switzerland. When filling out the form, you must follow the individual instructions, which are available on the internet at http://www.steuerkonferenz.ch/.
The wage statement must be generated annually or when the employee leaves. In general, only one wage statement may be generated for each natural person, unless one of the following exceptions applies:
- Change of the legal person of the employer
If the legal person changes during the year, two wage statements must be generated for the employee.
- Change of employee status
If an employee starts receiving a pension during the year, two wage statements must be generated for the employee.
- Publication period exceeds one year
If the print report is executed for a period of more than one year, you must generate a separate wage statement for each year, under consideration of the above conditions.
Features
The program evaluates the settlement results of the selected employees by assigning the wage types to the fields of the wage statement and adding them up.
