Purpose

This report displays annual snapshot of employee's remuneration across the Australian Public Service (APS). It shows the level of remuneration paid at different classifications, and changes, if any, in remuneration from year to year.

You can download these details for submission to authorities.

Note

The report will not process the following employee(s):

  • Employees who are not active as at the date of effect (31/12/xxxx) of the current payroll year
  • Casual employees as per Set the permanency indicator (APSC interface)(13PER) feature
  • Employee is on LWOP on the 31/12/xxxxof the current payroll year. You must implement the logic for LWOP in BAdI: Filter Employees .

Integration

Prerequisites

You must maintain the following details for all employees:

  • Relevant infotypes
  • Set Agency code for APSC interface(13AGY) feature
  • Set the permanency indicator (APSC interface)(13PER) feature

Features

Selection

Specify the following selection criteria:

  • Selection - Select an employee or a range of employees.
  • Details provided by Agency - Enter the following details of the agency that is paying the employees:
  • Agency Name- Enter the name of the Australian Public Service (APS) agency.

  • Agency Code - Enter the agency code that the Commission assigns to Australian Public Service (APS) agency. Note that, incase you do not maintain the agency code then system determine the agency code from the Set Agency code for APSC interface(13AGY) feature for the selected personnel numbers.

  • Calendar Year- Enter the year for which you want to execute the report.

  • Download options
  • Test Run - Select this check box if you want the report to simulate the employee details without actually downloading the data.

  • Platform

- Application Server -Choose this radio button if you want to download employees' details to your application server.
-Workstation (PC) - Choose this radio button if you want to download employees' details to your workstation.
Dataset Directory- Enter the location of the file containing the employees' data.
  • Dataset name - Enter the dataset name in which you want to download the employees' details.

Standard Variants

Output

The report output comprises:

  • ALV Grid ,,
The report displays the remuneration/ employment details for all the employee in the form of an ALV grid. For example, he information displayed here consists of:
  • o,,Employee details

  • o,,Remuneration details such as Base Salary, Overtime Payments, Productivity bonous

  • o,,Superannuation Details

  • o,,Agency Details

  • .txt File
The system downloads the .txt file to the path that you specified in Download/Upload section. The file contains the Header Record on the first row, and the Data Items on every subsequent row. It contains one row per employee for the employees who are active as on 31 December xxxx, where xxxx refers to current payroll year.
  • Header section

This section lists record type, agency name, agency code, start date, date of effect and number of records.
  • Body section

This section lists Employee details, Remuneration details such as (Base Salary, Overtime Payments, Productivity bonous), Superannuation Details, Agency Details

Activities

  1. From SAP Easy Access menu, choose Human Resources -> Payroll-> Australia -> Public Sector -> Reports -> APSED Report.
  2. The APS Remuneration Report (RPLPBSQ8) report screen appears.
  3. Enter the relevant selection criteria
  4. Choose Program -> Execute.

System displays the relevant employees details on the report output screen.
