Purpose

You can destroy business data (in this case, business events or courses) using the HRLSO_CRSE archiving object which runs in an Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) enabled setup. Every archiving object has two mandatory reports - the write report and the delete report. The write report archives the data to the archive store, and the delete report deletes data from the database or archive store. This is the delete report of the HRLSO_CRSE the archiving object.

This report reads an archiving session for the HRLSO_CRSE archiving object and deletes all data stored on the database for this object. The archive data is written to the database by the RPLSO_CRSE_ARCH_WRI report.

You run this report to destroy the data archived by the write report and to become data privacy law compliant.

Integration

In the Customizing settings of transaction AOBJ, if the Start Automaticallyradio button is selected in the Delete Jobsscreen area, the delete report is run automatically and the data will be destroyed after the write report archives the data in production mode.

Prerequisites

The following are the prerequisits for this report:

  • A correct archiving run must have taken place.
  • You must use the archive management transaction (SARA) to start this program in production mode.
  • SAP NetWeaver ILM solution must be switched on as the archiving object makes use of the retention management component in SAP NetWeaver ILM solution.

Features

This report deletes the data stored in database tables. The data deleted is based on the records read from the archiving session and archived by the RPLSO_CRSE_ARCH_DEL write report.

Selection

This report can be run in test and production mode.

The following types of detailed logs are available:

  • No Detail Log
  • Without Success Message
  • Complete

Standard Variants

The following are the standard variants for this report:

  • SAP&TEST - Test Mode
  • Test run does not delete records

  • SAP&PROD - Production Mode
  • Production mode deletes records from the database and from the archive store

Output

This report provides a detailed log of a the list of tables from which data was deleted. It also provides the number of entries per table and any error messages.

Destruction log details such as the plan version, object type, number of objects, archived until date, username, and archiving object is logged to the LSOARC_GRST table.

Activities

This delete report can only be run in test mode from transaction SE38. You can also create variants from this transaction.
