Description

This report is used to produce the annual report specified by the 'Wet SAMEN' (Employment of Minorities (Promotion) Act).

The annual report provides information on personnel and the percentage of ethnic minorities included. The report also provides information on personnel turnover, in general as well as for ethnic minorities. In addition, you must list what you have done in the past year to stimulate proportional representation within your company and which actions are planned for the coming year. As employer you must disclose a report every year on the previous calendar year, on or before 1 June.

The annual report only contains information in the form of ratios, numbers and percentages, i.e. anonymous information.

According to the Wet SAMEN the employee is required by law to supply the requested information. The data is entered in infotype SAMEN(0177). The employee may, however, lodge a written objection, in which case you must select the field Objection Lodged.

In all other cases you must fill the fields Country of Birth Employee, Country of Birth Mother and Country of Birth Father. An employee belongs to an ethnic minority group if at least one of the countries of birth is on the official list. The country list is included in table T5N05. You can add or delete countries in the table via the IMG. If not all countries are known, the decision of whether or not an employee belongs to an ethnic minority group will be based on the countries that are given.

Personnel data according to job grade is determined by feature Job grade classification for the Wet SAMEN, feature NFNCL. You can use the IMG to change the settings of this feature.

Requirements

The report only takes those employees into consideration whose record is valid for infotype SAMEN (0177) and which have status Active. Only these employees will be taken into consideration.

Output

The report provides an overview of various key figures and data:

  • Company Data
  • Personnel Data
  • Data on Personnel Turnover
  • Proportional Figures, Target Figures and Measures
  • Explanation
  • Conclusion
  • Conclusion of the Works Council

Two situations determine the level of the report.

  • You employ at least 35 people and your company is not part of a group or larger enterprise. In this case you must complete the report independently for your company.

  • You employ at least 35 people and your comany is part of a group or larger enterprise, e.g. a branch or branch office. In this case it is important to find out if you need to complete the report independently. You must complete the report independently if your plant/ unit is an independent unit, in other words an independent company according to the law.
    To select data for a particular company unit, select Representing Legal Person to choose the unit. A proposal is generated using data defined in feature NLR07 (Representing Legal Persons forREO [RBA]) and the relationship management tables. If you want to execute the report for a certain region you can select a certain employee group or certain units in your company by specifying a number of variables. You are free to select the target group of your choice. In addition, you can enter additional data, which will later be necessary for the report.

A text file is created after running the program. This file can be modified in a word processing program (e.g. Word). In this way you can add additional information to the report, which is required for reporting. This information is not generated by the system and must therefore be entered manually.

By selecting the field WORD you can create an automatic link with the word processing program Word (if available).
