Purpose

You can use this report to test the configuration settings for financial and capacity planning for integration entries, in other words, for planning data that has been transferred from Project System to SAP Portfolio and Project Management. The report checks for missing or incorrect Customizing.

Selection

  • Test Configuration for the following:
  • Financial/Capacity Planning: Displays missing Customizing settings for financial and capacity planning

  • Display Existing Customizing: Displays category, group, and view configured for selected portfolio/items

  • Check Overlapping Entries in Financial/Capacity Mapping
  • You can select the Check Overlapping Entries checkbox and enter the logical system of Project System.
    This will display the overlapping entries for financial and capacity planning. If more than one category/group/view selection exists for a given cost element or cost center/activity type, this is referred to as overlapping entries. These entries are maintained in Customizing for SAP Portfolio and Project Management under Portfolio Management-> Base System Interfaces-> Financial Planning Settings/Capacity Planning Settings.

  • Customizing Check of Exchange Rate
You can use this option to check the exchange rate Customizing for currencies maintained for items, buckets, and the controlling area of linked Project System projects. The system adopts the currencies from the selected items. You can choose a date for which the exchange rate is to be selected.
  • Portfolio/Bucket Selection
You enter a portfolio or bucket for which you want the system to perform the Customizing check. The system performs the checks for all items under the given portfolio or bucket.
