RPM_INIT_DEL - Delete Archived Portfolio Initiatives

Purpose

You use this program for the deletion of data using the archiving object SAP Portfolio and Project Management Initiative(RPM_INIT).

Integration

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the archiving object RPM_INIT. For more information, see the archive object description in the Product Assistance documentation for SAP Portfolio and Project Management for SAP S/4HANA. In transaction SARA, select the required archiving object and choose the Documentation function to call the object-specific documentation.

The write program RPM_INIT_WRI has generated an archive file for the data to be deleted.

Features

The system deletes the initiative data transferred to an archive file during a run of the write program RPM_INIT_WRI from the relevant database tables.

Selection

Select the required archive file to start the deleting process.

Standard Variants

Output

The statistic values of the transparent table CRM_JEST between write and delete report may deviate by 1. This is not a bug but depends on the implementation logic of the status management. In the write report the status archived is written. Changing the status results in a new entered values. This value will not be updated in the transparent table to be archived. That why there are less values deleted then written to archive.
