RPM_INIT_WRI - Write Program of Archiving Object RPM_INIT

Purpose

You use this program for the archiving of data using the archiving object SAP Portfolio and Project Management Initiative (RPM_INIT).

Integration

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the archiving object RPM_INIT. For more information, see the archive object description in the Product Assistance documentation for SAP Portfolio and Project Management for SAP S/4HANA. In transaction SARA, select the required archiving object and choose the Documentation function to call the object-specific documentation.

Features

The system selects the initiative data and transfers the data to an archive file so that you can then use the associated delete program RPM_INIT_DEL to remove this data from the database.

No data is deleted from the database during the write phase.

Selection

Select the required selection criteria to start the archiving process.

Standard Variants

Output

The statistic values of the transparent table CRM_JEST may deviate between the write and delete program,by 1 due to the implementation logic of the status management. In the write program the status Archived is written. Changing the status results in new values. These values are not updated in the transparent table to be archived. Therefore there are less values deleted than written to archive.
