RPPAO_LAUNCHER - HRPAO Launcher

Purpose

This report can be used to access to the most used functionalities on the analysis of HR Renewal incidents. On the same screen, it's possible to access to the required reports, tcodes, tables, badis, classes or webdynpro applications, that are usually checked to solve any issue on HR Renewal.

It's possible to run the report using tcode HRPAO_LAUNCHER.

Prerequisites

Use HR Renewal functionality.

Selection

We have next selection fields on 3 blocks at the beginning of the screen:

• First block contains fields 'Infotype PA/PD' and 'Language'.
  Depending of the infotype selected, some buttons will be de/activated. For instance, button PP01 or Test PD-NITF will be activated when a PD infotype is selected.
  In order to get the screen reloaded with the corresponding buttons activated, it's necessary to select an infotype and click on enter.
  By default, infotype 0000 is selected.

• Second block contains fields 'Version ID' and 'Personal number'.
  Personal number has a search help that will show the pernr belonging to the country selected on field 'Version ID'. For instance, if Version ID = '01', just German employees will be displayed on Personal number search help.

• Third block contains fields 'Object Type' and 'Object ID'.
  PD object types managed on HR Renewal are Positions 'S' and Organizational Units 'O'.
  Taking into account the object type selected, search help of object id will display the organizational units or the positions available on the system.
  Therefore it's necessary to select an object type before searching an object id. A message is displayed when object id's search help is clicked without any object type selected.
  Depending on the values selected on the previous blocks, we'll have access to the next buttons:
  

A.,,Infotype Management

We can access to the tcodes used on the management of infotypes:
-,,Tcode PA30 or PP01, old infotype framework is used
-,,Tcode PUIT_UI or HRBAS_CHECK_INFTY to test infotypes on new infotype framework
-,,It's possible to launch webdynpro application MASTERDATA (wd. appl. configuration hrpao_paom_masterdata.
If an employee and infotype have been selected, MasterData application will be opened to manage directly the selected infotype.
If an object type and object id were selected, MasterData application will be opened with the short profile of the selected object id.

B.,,Infotype Configuration

There are some direct access to the most used functionalities on the configuration of the infotypes. There is a direct access to the most relevant BAdIs , Launchpad customizing, OTR Texts, Genil Model Browser, etc.
Some relevant remarks:
-,,Button 'BL Class' opens Business logic classes CL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_XXXX_YY and button 'UI Class' opens UI conversion class CL_HRPA_UI_CONVERT_XXXX_YY, where 'XXXX' will contain the infotype selected and 'YY' will be the version id.
-,,'WD. Compt.' button will open the component configuration used to manage the infotype to the version id selected on MasterData application. You can check on design time the fields available on the wd.
If you select an infotype and version id that doesn´t have any component configuration created, it means that there is no country specific version and the international one should be checked. For instance, trying to open the component configuration to the IT0001, country 05, we'll check that CC HRPAO_DTL_FORM_IT0001_NL doesn´t exist, so we should check the international version HRPAO_DTL_FORM_IT0001_XX.
-,,'Config Tables' will provide you access to tables V_T588, T777D, V_T582A or V_T582APAO.
-,,Buttons 'T588MFPRP' and 'T588MUIFPROP' will open custom or SAP tables.

C.,,Roadmaps, Processes and Forms

You can run tcodes to manage the processes:
-,,Tcode HRASR_DT: access to Design Time Tool to manage the processes
-,,Tcode HRASR_TEST_PROCESS: run a PA process with the selected pernr or a PD process using the object type and object id entered.

D.,,Dynamic Processing Rules

It's possible to access to the old Dynamic Actions (table T588Z), manage new Dynamic Processing Rules DPR (view cluster VC_T77PAODYRULE) or access to the Rule Manager.

E.,,Others

On this last section, it's possible to access to several useful utilities, like HR Renewal documentation, IMG node relevant for HR Renewal, Switch Framework, some UI5 tools (to delete caches and check oData services) and direct access to packages used in our application.

Output

You'll navigate to the corresponding functionality after clicking the required button. When possible, selected parameters: pernr, infotype, object type, object id, etc. will be used.
