Purpose

Test report for RFC services for Travel Request @ Duet

This report simulates the UI of the Travel Request inside an MS Outlook appointment and allows understanding/testing the RFC services used by the Duet platform.

Integration

Prerequisites

You should have assigned your system user name to your test personnel number via Infotype 105 subtype 0001, so it will be prepopulated by this test report.

If you don't enter a trip number on the first screen, a new trip request will be created. If you enter the number of an existing trip request, it will be opened for modification.

Features

This report allows maintaining the same trip request data as the application in Duet will do. This includes:

  • Begin and end date/time
  • Either destination as freeflow text or as address. This depends of the customizing (schema and single field control in TA FITVFELD_WEB). In the case of destination address, either an existing one (used in previous trips or customized in TA23ADR) or a new one (incl. all necessary address fields) can be entered.
  • Trip reason
  • Trip activity (values coming from customizing)
  • Estimated costs
  • Freeflow notes
  • Cost distribution of trip (only up to 3 cost items are supported by this test report)

In general, these categories can be controlled via customizing in terms of standard values and of visibility (schema and single field control). Therefore, this test report should be run with different customizing settings in order to check all this.

Activities

When entering cost distribution items, you have to possibilities to enter cost objects:

  • Selecting cost objects out of the dropdown list box containing the personal value help. These are provided by RFC PTRM_REQUEST_INIT and contain cost objects already used by the personnel number in previous trips.
  • As ABAP screens doesn't provide a DDLB control not only allowing to select existing values but also to enter new ones (as it is available in Duet XAML), you can also enter new cost objects in the input fields beside each dropdown list box. Via these fields you can also reach the free search help for global cost objects.
