Purpose

This report compiles a statistic of personnel events that have taken place over a period of time. For each event, the number of employees who have experienced the event is given in terms of gender and ethnic origin. The report delivers details and summaries for various organizational entities such as company, plant, plant section and smaller organizational units. Optionally, a detailed list with employees' names and job information can be generated.

Note:

In this report, events are attributed ONLY to the organizational entity at which they occur. For example: An employee who changes from plant A to plant B will register as an organizational change in plant B only. This will have to be taken into consideration if the results from this report are compared to the results from report RPSAAPU1 (Turnover Analysis). In RPSAAPU1, the change in plants from plant A to plant B would register as a 'Transfer Out' for plant A and a 'Transfer In' for plant 'B'.

Integration

To determine the column (the effective category) in the Affirmative Action Program (AAP) report under which the employee will be reported, the program checks if the Ethnicity(ETHEN) field is maintained in the Additional Personal Data (0077) infotype.

  • If it is maintained, the program reads feature 10AAP.
  • If it is not maintained, the program checks if the old Ethnic Origin (RACKY) field is maintained in the Additional Personal Data (0077) infotype and reads feature EEOCL.

To maintain these features, execute Customizing activity Modify and generate features for U.S. compliance reports.

Prerequisites

Features

Selection

The following Parameters and Selection Options influence the output of the report:

Additional Data:

  • Events to be included: Select which events should be included in the final report.
  • Print list of names: Select whether a detailed list with employees per event should be printed after the statistic.
  • Statistics buy company code only': By default, the resulting list is broken down to the level of plant sections. Checking this parameter will display a more detailed list by org. unit per plant section.
  • Statistic by Org. Unit only: Checking this parameter will cause the report to accumulate the statistic by org. units only. Other levels of control such as company or plant will not be displayed. This will allow analysis of org. units that span more than one plant section.
  • Summary After Each Org. Level: Checking this parameter will cause the numbers for each level of control to be aggregated and printed out after the preceding level.
