Purpose

This program imports application enhancement tool (AET) metadata from the SAP CRM source client to the SAP ERP destination client.

AET metadata is required to handle CRM-based extensions in the ERP system:

  • Extension of database table name
  • Component structure name (used in PSSCS_AET_H append)
  • Component table type name (used in PSSCS_AET_H append)

Prerequisites

  • At least one active AET enhancement must exist in the SAP CRM source system.
  • An active RFC connection is required from the current SAP ERP client to the SAP CRM client.

Features

Selection

  • Logical system (CRM system)
  • Extended business object (enter the social service plan, social deduction plan or leave blank to select both objects)
  • Simulation mode or leave checkbox blank for productive mode.

Standard Variants

Output

This produces a list of existing extensions in the SAP CRM System. Select at least one valid extension and execute the metadata transfer.

Activities

Follow the instruction in the cookbook document attached to the SAP consulting note 1552061.

Please make sure you have the following authorizations for report execution:

  • for current user: F_SC_ADM
  • for RFC user calling from current ERP system to CRM system: CRM_4S_AET
