Purpose

You use this report to decluster the data stored in clustered tables and store the same data in the transparent tables.

The Time Evaluation results are stored in the PCL2 clustered table for RELID B2. The data stored in the B2 cluster area is mapped to 30 different transparent tables.

All transparent tables have a naming convention P2B2_XXX, where 'XXX' is the name of the structure that maintains specific data. For example, P2B2_AB stores the absence data.

You can select the tables required for declustering. Only the tables selected for declustering display the declustered data.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have defined the names of the structures in the B2 cluster area for which you require to enable declustering in the Customizing activity Maintain Declustering Registry for Time Evaluation Results.

Features

The report uses the PNP logical database.

Note that only the data stored in nonarchived PCL2 clustered table is considered for declustering.

Selection

You can run this report with the following selection criteria:

  • Personnel Number (PERNR)
  • Selection Period
  • Year (For example, 2012 to 2013)

  • Period (Format: YYYYPP, where YYYY represents year and PP represents period)

  • Other Options
  • Delete Inconsistent Data

Inconsistent data occurs in the following ways:
When a particular data is not available in the PCL2 table but the data is still available in the transparent tables. This can happen when you switch off synchronous updates in the Customizing activity and then run a deletion report for the PCL2 table. To delete any such inconsistent data for a given selection criteria, select the Delete Inconsistent Data checkbox.
When a particular table chosen for declustering is removed from declustering registry and the data is still available in the corresponding declustered table. To delete any such inconsistent data from a deregistered transparent table, select the Delete Inconsistent Data checkbox.
  • Detailed Log

You can display PERNR information in the following ways:
If you select the Detailed Log checkbox, detailed information for all the PERNRs processed along with the Payroll Period is displayed. Note that for each PERNR, an appropriate icon for changed data and deleted data is displayed.
If you do not select the Detailed Log checkbox, only information such as total number of PERNRs processed is displayed.

Output

  • On completion of the report, the system displays a message on the Listscreen indicating that declustering for the given selection criteria was successful.
  • If you select the Delete Inconsistent Data checkbox, and if the report finds and deletes inconsistent data, the system displays a message on the List screen indicating that the inconsistent data has been deleted.
  • When you are not running the report in batch mode, the system displays appropriate messages.

Activities

To access this report on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Human Resources -> Time Management -> Administration -> Tools -> Tools Selection -> Declustering -> Initial Load Declustering for Time Evaluation Results.
