Subroutine pool for B904 (direct reports plus employees that report to a direct manager position (vacant) that reports directly to the selected manager).

Positions 1, 2, and 3 report directly to manager A. Positions 4 and 5 report to the holder of position 3. If position 3 is vacant, positions 4 and 5 also report to manager A.
