Purpose

You can use this report to indicate jobs or positions as key jobs or key positions, or to remove this indication.

The report uses the implementation of the Calculation of Key Indication of Jobs and Positions (HRTMC_CALCULATE_KEY_INDICATION) Business Add-In that is active in your system. You use this BAdI implementation to specify the logic that is to be used for the key indication.

You can run the report in test mode.

Selection

Note the following information about the selection criteria:

  • Plan Version
Specifies the plan version for the root object and for all infotype records that the report reads or creates
  • Object Type
Gives the object type of the root object
  • Object ID
Gives the ID of the root object
  • Object Status
Specifies the status version for the root object and for all infotype records that the report reads or creates
  • Evaluation Path
Gives the evaluation path that the report uses to determine all jobs or positions starting from the root object
  • Insert Date/Delimitation Date
Specifies the following date:
  • Set Key Indication mode: Start date of the infotype records created by the report for the Key Indication (7400) infotype

  • Delimit Key Indication mode: Delimitation date for the infotype records delimited by the report for the Key Indication (7400) infotype

Set Key Indication mode

The report displays all jobs or positions that have no previous key indication determined using the selection criteria, and selects them. The report only takes those jobs or positions into account that the active implementation of the HRTMC_CALCULATE_KEY_INDICATION BAdI determines as relevant for key indication.
You can deselect those jobs or positions for which you do not want to set a key indication.
If you choose Execute, the report generates a Key Indication (7400) infotype record with the following data for each of the jobs or positions in question:
  • Nomination status: Approved

  • Start date: the dates that you have stored in the Insert Date/Delimitation Date field

  • End date: highest system date (12/31/9999)

  • Automatically Set indicator: selected

  • Reason for Nomination or Approval: empty

  • Nominated or Approved By: empty

  • Delimit Key Indication mode
The report displays all jobs or position for which a Key Indication (7400) infotype record with the nomination status Nominated or Approved exists that were determined using the selection criteria. It does not only list the jobs or positions that were indicated using this report; it also lists those jobs or positions for which the key indication was set in another way.
In this list, you can select all jobs or positions for which you want to delimit the Key Indication (7400) infotype record on the given delimitation date.
If you choose Execute, the infotype records are delimited. The Automatically Set indicator is not selected in this infotype record.
