RPTREQACTOR - Create Actor ID
General Data in Customer Master CPI1466 during BackupThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Purpose
Each employee that is involved in a leave request or clock-in/clock-out correction (or approval thereof) requires an actor ID. These IDs are written to table PTREQ_ACTOR by the system. If the system finds that such an ID does not yet exist, it creates the ID automatically as soon as it is required. This is not problematic for individual employees.
However, if a large number of employees are working with ESS Time Management for the first time, multiple write access to table PTREQ_ACTOR can lead to problems.
To avoid these problems, you can use this report to create the actor IDs.
Use this report when the following situations apply to multiple employees in ESS Time Management:
- First-time entry into the system
- Switch from old ITS-based services to Web Dynpro.
Integration
Prerequisites
Features
The report creates a new actor ID for all selected personnel numbers that do not yet have an actor ID.
The flag "Only Display New Data Records" controls whether already existing actor IDs are displayed. In every case, new data records are selected in the output table via a flag.
Please note:
- The report issues a warning if it finds 2 existing actor IDs for one personnel number. These are displayed regardless of the status of the "Only Display New Data Records" flag. This inconsistency must be corrected. You can find more information in the long text for the warning message.
- Newly generated actor IDs are displayed even during the test run. However, since these cannot be written to the database, the actor IDs displayed can differ from the actor IDs generated later for this personnel number.
