Purpose

You can use this program to process My Overtimerequests that the system could not post to the infotype Attendance Quotas(2007) for technical reasons. This may happen if the attendance quota record was already created by someone else, for example.

This program is intended for the error handling of requests for a relatively small number of employees. You can therefore restrict the number of data records to be evaluated according to organizational criteria. If you want to evaluate more than 50 employees, use the report My Overtime: Process Posting Errors (RPT_OVT_ERR_ALL). You can navigate to this report using the button Evaluation Over All Data Records on the selection screen.

The report lists the data records of requests with errors. To process those requests, carry out the following steps:

  1. Check the error situation in the application that you use to maintain time data. Maintain the attendance quota records as specified in the request and save.
  • If no error message appears, the system could save the attendance quota records without issues.

  • If an error message appears, correct the error if possible.

  1. Return to this report. Assign a status to each request, depending on whether you were able to resolve the error.
  • If you were able to save the attendance quota records in the system, select the corresponding request, and choose Approve. The request is assigned the status Posted in the request database.

  • If you were unable to save the attendance quota records in the system, select the corresponding request, and choose Reject. The request is assigned the status Rejected in the request database. The employee is automatically notified that the request could not be processed.
