Warning

If your system is 4.0 or younger, this report should already have run when your system was upgraded to 4.0.

If, for any reason, you decide to run this online, you will be doing so at your own risk.

Requirements

Output

The structure of savings plan set up has changed and the following replacements have taken place, as of this release;
------------------------------------------------------------
| Old | New | Name of new view |
------------------------------------------------------------
| V_T5UBD | V_T74FD | Savings plan |
| V_T5UBX | V_T74FE | ERCON formula |
| | V_T74FF | ERCON formula calculation rule |
| | V_T74FG | EECON formula |
| | V_T74FH | EECON formula calculation rule |
------------------------------------------------------------

There are two principal changes;

  • Employee contribution has been taken out of the savings plan view and is now only referenced from it and defined elsewhere.
  • Both employee and employer contributions are defined with a formula and formula calculation rule.

The report creates the customizing entries in the five new views as follows;

  • For V_T74FD, the BPLAN and ERCON entries are carried over one to one. The new field EECON takes the BPLAN name as its own name.
  • In V_T74FE, for each employer contribution in V_T5UBX, the report looks where it is used in V_T5UBD and creates an entry for each savings plan/employer contribution. If an employer contribution from V_T5UBX is not used in V_T5UBD, the report does not create an entry, but produces a warning in the report protocol.
  • For V_T74FF, entries are taken from corresponding fields in V_T5UBX. For each ERCON in V_T5UBX, the report looks at where the employer contribution is used in V_T5UBD. Then for every possible combination of savings plan/employer contribution formula, the system creates an entry in the new employer contribution formula calculation rule V_T74FF. If no entry is found for the employer contribution in V_T5UBD, no entry is created, but a warning appears in the report protocol.
  • In V_T74FG, for each BPLAN in V_T5UBD, entries are created for the savings plan/new employee contribution formula. The report takes the name of the savings plan as the name of the new EECON.
  • For V_T74FH, entries are taken from corresponding fields in V_T5UBD.

In the first instance the converted entries have no variables such as age or salary, because of course until now, there was no method of defining this.
