RPU42FA0 - mBGM: Utility Report for Converting IT0042 Data Records (Tax Number)

Purpose

As of 2021, tax numbers will be indicated by 9 digits instead of by 7 digits as previously. During the conversion, the previously assigned tax office number (2-digit) will be placed in front of the previous 7-digit tax number.

To convert the tax numbers throughout the system you need to run several reports (see Conversion of Tax Number to 9 Digits). This report converts all tax numbers in infotype 42.

Prerequisites

You have already run the reports RPUT5A0A_AG9 and RPUT5A7X_AG9.

Features

Selection

• Personnel Number

Specify the personnel numbers for which you wish to convert the tax number. Leave the field empty to change all data records.

• Test Run (No Update)

Select the field to perform a test run without a database update.

• Log Control

Choose which data you would like to be output.

Standard Variants

Output

An ALV Grid shows the converted or incorrect records.

Activities

1. Run a test run first to obtain an overview.
2. Run the report with an update.
3. Then edit the incorrect records that are displayed in the report output.

When you have run all reports (see Conversion of Tax Number to 9 Digits), you can double-click in the ALV Grid to navigate to infotype 0042 (transaction PA30, edit mode). Transaction PA30 is temporarily blocked for infotype 42 until all reports have been run.
