Description

As of release, 45A you must use the Company Car infotype (0442) to store company car information. If your company previously used the infotype Internal Control (0032) to store company car information, you must run this conversion report.

This program copies all company car fields (including the infotype header information) from infotype 0032 to infotype 0442. The new records in infotype 0442 contain the same information as in infotype 0032. All employees assigned to a South African personal area will be copied with this program.

Important

This program must only be run once (per client) during the upgrade process (for any release prior to 45B) where your company has used the infotype Internal control (0032) to store company car information.

  1. Run the program first in test mode. Ensure that no employees have in

  3. Run the Program in live mode.
  4. Ensure that the number of employees to be inserted equals the number inserted for each client.

Conversion

The specific company car field that are copied with this report are:

pa0032-pkwwr -> pa0442-paidp

pa0032-pkwrg -> pa0442-carrg

pa0032-kfzkz -> pa0442-regno

pa0032-anlnr -> pa0442-astno

Output

The report outputs the number of table entries converted for each client. Where a record with an identical key already exists for the employee, the employee number is displayed in the log.
