Title

Convert data for new field in infotype 'Challenge'

Purpose

The addition of a new field (P0004-SBPRF) in infotype 'Challenge'(0004) now allows users to enter a challenge rate with two decimal places. However, the legacy data will need to be converted.

The purpose of this report is to therefore copy the data contained in the infotype old field (P0004-SBPRO) into the new field.

Example

old value PA0004-SBPRO: 065
new value PA0004_SBPRF: 065.00

Activities

If you are using the challenge rate in field P0004-SBPRO and would like to use the new field, you need to change the field names accordingly in your report.
Execute the conversion program.

Integration

The 'Statement of employment for challenged persons' report (RPLDH2F0) that read the data in field P0004-SBPRO has already been adapted.

Prerequisites

The new 'Challenge' infotype screen must have been set as follows:

1. The 'Screen control infotype 0004: Challenge' (P0004) must be generated.
2. Its output value must then be used for screen control in the corresponding view of table T588M. This value must be entered in field 'Variable key'.
   The field 'Alternative screen' must contain the value 2006.

Features

This programme may be restarted in the event of an error in order to check whether the entries have already been copied.
