RPU510UR - Conversion of Tables T510U / T510R into Table T510_PSRCL

Purpose

As of SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70 (SAP_HR 470), the reports Pay Scale Reclassification Due to Age or Duration of Pay Scale Membership ( (RPITUM00) and Pay Scale Reclassification (RPITIG00) are replaced by the new report Pay Scale Reclassification (RPIPSR00). That report uses the new table T510_PSRCL (Pay Scale Reclassification.

This conversion program enables you to convert the entries from tables T510U and T510R to the new table T510_PSRCL.

Note

If you change your release to SAP R/3 Enterprise Core 4.70 (SAP_HR 470) you must perform the conversion.

Selection

On the selection screen you can set the following indicators or make the following entries:

• Direct Conversion Without Check

If you set this indicator, starting the program converts the tables immediately.

Recommendation

You are advised not to set the indicator, and to start the program. If you do that, the system first outputs a list of warnings - if there are any - regarding the conversion. From this list you can save and thereby perform the table conversion.

• Conversion of Table T510R

If you only want to convert the entries in table T510R, set this indicator.

• Conversion of Table T510U

If you only want to convert the entries in table T510U, set this indicator.

If you set this indicator, an entry field appears for a value of the VARGU field. Since table T510_PSRCL needs this field for the conversion, you must also save a default value in the Default Value for 'VARGU' field.

• Default Value for 'VARGU' Field

Here you save the default value for the VARGU field.

The VARGU field is new in table T510_PSRCL, and when you convert entries from table T510U, the system fills the field with the default value that you enter here. In the standard, the default value is *.

Standard Variants

Output

The system outputs statistics regarding the rows to be converted.

Activities

If you do not set the Direct Conversion Without Check indicator, you can process possible warnings before the conversion.

To perform the conversion from the list screen, choose Save.
