Title

Convert the Table for the Status of Future Pension Rights in Value Types

Purpose

This report lets you convert the data in the cumulated future pension rights PCS table (P01CCV) in the results table for future pension rights (PDAVRT).

Integration

Prerequisites

Table P01CCV is only converted for the records created by a pension calculator run. In this case, the assignment to the status table, P01CST, is defined by the "Assignment Number for Cyclical Future Pension Rights" (ZNRCV). In particular, this conversion report does not processed entries that were transferred to P01CCV manually or by customer reports.

Make sure that all the entries for a pension calculator run (same assignment number) have the same currencies. Different currencies for one run could arise if the records written by the pension calculator are changed manually or with a customer report. If different currencies occur within a run, the conversion report for the personnel number terminates with an error message.

After a successful conversion, the currency is transferred to status table P01CST in database update mode.

Features

Selection

You can perform conversion for a single date in future rights valuation. To do so, enter the date of the future pension right on the selection screen. If you do not specify a date, table P01CCV is converted completely, aside from the restriction described above.

If conversion has already been performed for a date and a personnel number, processing for that personnel number terminates with an error message.

Standard Variants

Output

The report log indicates which value types are formed during the conversion. If you start the report in test mode, no database changes are made. If you start the report with database update, the future pension rights are copied to table PDAVRT as value types.

Activities

When you use this report to perform the conversion, the future pension rights data from table P01CCV is copied to table PDAVRT. Once you have made sure the conversion was run correctly, you can delete the data in table P01CCV. When you run the pension calculator in future, you want the status of the future pension rights to be written to table PDAVRT, and no longer P01CCV. To do this, make sure value types T100 and T110 in view V_T5DVA are set to save. To prevent writing to table P01CCV, set parameter NOCV in view V_5DCY_C to "X".
