Description

Court order functionality has been available in the Payroll Accounting component since 3.0F. Due to the extensive modifications made to this functionality in Release 4.5A, the conversion program RPUCOUG0 is provided in this Release to perform the necessary conversions. This report works on the payroll results and Infotype 70 (Court Orders GB) as follows:

  1. New infotype subtypes have been introduced in Release 4.5A. Old subtypes are therefore converted as follows:
England/Wales:
N: EWN
P: EWP
C: EWC
T: EWT
D: CSD
Northern Ireland:
N: NIN
P: NIP
D: CSD
Scotland:
M: SCMA
S: SEA
D: CSD
  1. The court order wage types available prior to 4.5A are converted as follows in the RT and CRT tables:
    /Cx1,,,,/CO1
    /Cx2,,,,/CO2
    /Cx3,,,,/CO3
    /Cx4,,,,/CO4
  2. OBJPS field is now handled differently on IT0070
Whenever a new court order type was created, the P0070-OBJPS was assigned the value 01. If such a subtype already existed, the P0070-OBJPS was increased by 1.
Now each time a court order is created, the P0070-OBJPS field is assigned a sequential value, irrespective of the court order type.
  3. Table V0 is used instead of the CNTR3 field on the RT
The OBJPS of the processed court order used to be stored in the CNTR3 field on the RT. Now the new fields V0TYP and V0ZNR are used on the RT to store the entry type ('G' for British garnishment) and object ID.
The table V0 is used to record information besides the OBJPS. The V0-V0TYP is assigned the value 'G' (for British garnishment), and detailed information (the court order type and OBJPS) is assigned to the field V0-VINFO.

Running RPUCOUG0

It is important that you set the parameters correctly before you run this report:

  1. Enter the personnel number, or range of personnel numbers, and payroll area.
  2. Then enter the region in which you are operating the court orders.
  3. Enter the tax year(s) for which you want to convert the payroll results.
  4. Specify whether you want to run the report in test mode.

Requirements

Output

If you run the report in test mode, it will display a message if the person concerned does not have an Infotype 70 record. Otherwise, it will display the details of the conversion of the old subtype to the new subtype, and the old object ID to the new object ID.
You should check these results to ensure that the conversion is correct. You can then go on to run the report properly.

When you run the report for real, the system displays a message informing you that the cluster RG and Infotype 70 were converted for the specific personnel number. If errors occur, an error message is displayed.

Example

The following is an example of the data output when the report is run in test mode.
