Description

Program RPUCPC50 converts the Time Management cluster PC in the database table PCL1 to 4.0A format. It should be run during the upgrade phase of your HR component. The program can be started after the inactive phase, but must be finished before production startup.

The database conversion is carried out client by client and in small packages. This means that if there is an error, the conversion can be restarted at exactly the point at which it was cancelled.

Program RPUCPC50 must only be run once for all SAP clients.

The PC cluster records that cannot be converted (corrupt data format or incorrect PC version number) must be deleted from file PCL1 before production startup since they can no longer be accessed. This can be done by an HR system administrator with the relevant authorizations, using the service programs RPUP1D00 and RPUP1D10.
