Purpose

Deleting the old DEUEV occupational code in infotype DEUEV (0020) as of December 1, 2011.

Integration

As of December 1, 2011, the new DEUEV occupational code 2010 from infotype DEUEV (0020) will be used.

The following fields from the old DEUEV occupational code are invalid as of this date:

  • Occupation
  • Prof. Status
  • Education

Therefore, in infotype DEUEV (0020), it is checked that these fields are not filled as of December 1, 2011.

However, infotype records that start before December 1, 2011 or that were copied from such records still contain these fields and would now trigger an error message when the infotype record is maintained.

Therefore, these fields need to be deleted in infotype DEUEV (0020) as of December 1, 2011.

Prerequisites

Note that the change made to infotype DEUEV (0020) is relevant for retroactive accounting. If possible, make the changes before the payroll for 12/2011.

Features

This report selects all infotype records for infotype 0020 that end on or after December 1, 2011 and in which the three fields for the old occupational code are not empty.

  • Records that start before December 1, 2011 will be delimited and copied to a new record as of December 1, 2011 in which the fields are deleted.
  • Records that start on or after December 1, 2011 will be changed. The three fields for the old occupational code will be deleted.

Selection

Program Control group box

Create Log

If you select this checkbox, the system displays a list of the changed infotype records. Otherwise the system displays only the statistics.

Database Update

If you select this checkbox, the system makes the changes. The action performed depends on the selection you made in the Type of Conversion group box:

  • If you selected Direct Input, the system makes the changes to the database directly.
  • If you selected Batch Input, the system creates a Batch Input Session only.

Extended Selectiongroup box

Convert Employees Who Have Left Company

If you have selected this checkbox, the system also deletes fields in periods in which the employee left the company.

Convert Pensioners

If you have selected this checkbox, the system also deletes fields in periods in which the employee is a pensioner (employment status 2 in infotype 0000).

Type of Conversiongroup box

Direct Input

The system makes the changes to the infotype records in the database directly (if you have selected Database Update).

Batch Input

The system creates a batch input session that contains the infotype changes (if you have selected Database Update). The system makes the changes to the database only when running the batch input session.

You can define the name of the batch input session and a lock date.
