Purpose

Display of the wage type classification for the digital wage interface (DWI)

When creating the Wage Type Master Data file for the DWI, the same evaluation takes place.

Activities

The program in the control tables for payroll (for example, T512W) determines the wage type classification. The granularity of the characteristics in DWI is finer than what is needed for payroll. This is why some wage types have to be specified in more detail.

Start the report for all of the wage types you use in your system and add the missing classifications. Use the following Customizing activities (Payroll Germany -> Tax Audit -> Digital Wage Interface (DWI)) to do so:

• Determine Y/N Questions for Wage Type Master Data (View V_T77PAYDEDLS_L)

• Determine Additional Settings for Wage Type Master Data (View V_T77PAYDEDLS_W)

Classifications entered in Customizing override the value determined by the program.

Example

A wage type is encoded in table T512W in cumulation 41. This could be a meal, a company event, or recovery subsidies. A classification is required for DWI.
