Purpose

You use this report to carry out the transition according to BesÜG (Section 3, DNeuG) - Salary Transition Law, Service Regulations Readjustment Act.

The report processes all personnel cases based on the selection and creates a batch input session. This session contains the data for infotypes 0000, 0001, and 0008. Infotype 0007 is written if you have selected the parameter for including IT0007 in the BI session. For surviving dependents with a manual pension, infotype 0014 is written. The transition to the new pay scale takes place once the BI session has been processed.

The decision as to whether the new pay scale applies to a civil servant or pension recipient is first determined based on table T5DPBS3A. If infotype 0008 contains a pay scale type for which an entry with a new pay scale type (45 in the standard system) exists and the pay scale sector "D" for DNeuG is selected, the transition is carried out. The new salary group is determined based on table T5DPBS3B. The new pay scale level is determined based on a comparison calculation of the previous pay with the new salary table.

For pension recipients with a manual pension, warning messages are displayed for these manual pensions that are not adjusted automatically (special calculation indicator: Man. Pension, No Adjustment). For these cases, the amount has to be entered manually after the session has been processed. The level is set to ' ' (blank).

The report calls the BAdI HRPBSDE_DNEUG, which allows you to implement the transition according to your requirements. For example, you can use this BAdI to override the values that the report calculates for the salary-relevant fields in infotype 0008.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

Selection

The "Active Surviving Dependents" checkbox is only relevant for pension recipients. If you want to keep the number of data records to be transferred as low as possible, you can suppress the transition in cases where the pension holder has left and there are no surviving dependents. To do this, you select this field. As a result, holders with status "Left" are only transferred if the system contains at least one surviving dependent who entered this holder as a reference number in infotype 0322 and does not have status "Left".

Standard Variants

Output

The transition is logged in the HCM application log.

For personnel numbers selected by the report, entries are written to tables. For civil servants and pension recipients, the report writes data from infotype 0001, and for the latter, the subtype of infotype 0322 (Pension Type), to table PDPBSDNEUG_UEB. An entry for surviving dependents is also made in this table if the pension is not manual and no changes are made to the master data. For civil servants and pension holders, the data for infotype 0008 that was previously valid up to the key date of the transition is written to table PDPBSDNEUG_UEB_T.

Activities

Before starting the report, configure the Customizing settings for the Service Regulations Readjustment Act (see SAP Note 1121386).
