RPUDSCF3 - Purge test data from T5FDSN_GEN* tables

Purpose

This program allows you to purge the test data that is stored in tables T5FDSN_GEN_HDR and T5FDSN_GEN_SECTN in the retention period of your choice.

The content of tables T5FDSN_GEN_HDR and T5FDSN_GEN_SECTN can get higher, particularly if tests are frequently run.

Prerequisites

You have set up the data retention period in view V_T5F99RPA.

Features

Selection

The selection parameters Entries created by and Entries created before allow you to limit the data purge to the selected users and to the entries prior to the specified date.

• Test mode (checked by default): the program simulates the test data purge and specifies the total number of data that would have been deleted if test mode had not been selected. If this checkbox is not selected, the program automatically permanently deletes all the test data, that is, the data from table T5FDSN_GEN_HDR with the TEST field populated with value X, and the data from table T5FDSN_GEN_SECTN in which the value of the ROOT_UUID field equals the value of the same field in a deleted entry from table T5FDSN_GEN_HDR.

• Test data: only the test data is processed.
