RPUFBRN0 - Flexible Benefits NL: Collective Registration

Purpose

You use this report to collectively register employees' plan choices.

Collective registration can be completed with or without approval. The settings for a benefit plan determine whether approval is required before a choice can be registered.

Employee choices that are selected using this report have Flexible Benefits (NL) (0897) infotype records with a status of chosen. Registration changes the status of these records to registered.

Integration

The Customizing settings for the benefit plan control whether an employee choice requires approval.

Registration errors or details can be investigated for individual infotype records using the Administration Tool Flexible Benefits NL (RPCFBRN0) report.

Prerequisites

Features

The report is used to register a collection of employee choices according to specified criteria, such as personnel and organizational details, benefit area, and registration requirements. If approval is required before the choice can be registered, the choice is listed with summary information from the employee's Flexible Benefits (NL) (0897) infotype record and with plan and approval details. If approval is not required, registration occurs immediately (direct registration) for all choices that do not require approval.

Selection

In addition to the standard personnel selections, you can also restrict the infotype records selected for registration according to the following criteria:

• Other Selection group window

• Benefit Area: to restrict the selection to a group of plans that apply to a certain branch of the company or that can be used for the entire company.

• Program: to restrict the selection to a collection of sources and goals from which employees choose.

• Adjustment Reason: to restrict the selection to those infotype records that were created for a specific adjustment reason. An adjustment reason is a personal or organizational change experienced by an employee that allows the employee to adjust his or her benefit choices.

• Registrationgroup window

• All: to select and register all choices that match the selection criteria. Note that choices that require approval are not registered until the choice is approved.

• Direct: to select and register all choices that match the selection criteria and that do not require approval.

Standard Variants

Output

The report output depends on whether the All Choices or Direct Choices radio button was selected, as follows:

• All

Choices that match the selection criteria are directly registered, however, choices that require approval are listed for further investigation. For each choice that requires approval, the system lists the personnel number, employee name, validity period of the infotype record, benefit area, program, adjustment reason, approval and plan details.

Based on the approval and plan details, you then determine how to register the infotype records displayed. Registration can be processed according to the following:

• Individual: you can select and register an individual infotype record

• Selection: you can select and register a selection of infotype records

• All: you can select and register all infotype records listed

• Direct

Choices that match the selection criteria and which do not require approval are directly (immediately) registered. The report output summarizes the results of the registration as both general messages and statistics. The statistics provide an overview of number of infotype records changed. The overview contains the following information:

• The number of employees selected for collective registration

• The number of employees who were successfully registered

• The number of employees for whom the registration failed. If the registration failed, plan details are provided for further investigation.

Messages and the reasons for registration errors can be investigated either using the Administration Tool Flexible Benefits NL pushbutton or by using the Administration Tool Flexible Benefits NL (RPCFBRN0) report.
