RPUINFTPCL1CHECKA0 - Check PCL1/TY Against Master Data

SAP E-Book

Purpose

Database PCL1/TY stores texts for which there is not enough space in an HR master data infotype (because the maximum width of a data record has been exceeded). The connection between PCL1/TY and the corresponding infotype is established by a GUID (for example, field CLUSTR_GUID in IT3671) - together with the personnel number, this forms the unique key for PCL1/TY.

You can use this report to check the consistency between PCL1/TY and the master data.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

This is a PNP report that you enables you to use all options for variable data selection.

Selection

The two processing options are:

  • Evaluation from perspective of PCL1/TY
The data records of PCL1/TY are read and shortened by the personnel numbers defined on the report selection screen; only those personnel numbers in the intersection are processed further and checked for consistency. The result of this check is displayed in the results list.
  • Evaluation from perspective of HR master data (infotypes specified explicitly)
For the personnel numbers determined on the report selection screen, the infotypes you defined are analyzed in more detail. Their associated PCL1/TY records are examined and checked for consistency.
To show the infotype selection, under Type of Processing, choose the option Infotype, and choose Enter.

The following fields are included in the consistency check:

  • Personnel Number (field PERNR)
  • Infotype (INFTY)
  • Subtype (SUBTY)
  • Object Identification (OBJPS)
  • Lock Indicator for HR Master Record (SPRPS)
  • Valid-To Date (ENDDA)
  • Valid-From Date (BEGDA)
  • Reference Value (REFN0)
  • Reference Value of Original Notification (REFU0)
  • A1 Notification: Notification Type (MART0)

The output list is structured as follows:

  • The fields to the left of PCLx-Key (SRTFD) are filled by accessing PCL1/TY.
  • The fields to the right are supplied with content by master data processing.

Using the field Return Code (SUBRC) in the results list, the result for each hit is refined again, as follows:

  • 0 = everything is OK
  • 4 = record was found, but the identifying fields (PERNR, BEGDA, ENDDA, REFN0, and so on) do not match
  • 8 = (default) no suitable record found
  • 12 = record appears more than once
  • 99 = import of PCL1/TY was not successful

Standard Variants

Output

The result is displayed as an ALV list.
