SAP E-Book

Purpose

This report is relevant only if you want to calculate municipal tax amounts outside the SAP system and deduct these amounts together with the data generated by the Annual Overview: Payroll City (Municipal) Fund (RPCKSJA1) report.

Integration

When the municipal tax amounts are being summarized from the SAP payroll results, report RPCKSJA1 calls this RPUKSJA1 report, which reads an Excel file and then passes the data to report RPCKSJA1, which then adds this data to the overall list.

Prerequisites

  • You have prepared a suitable Excel file with (external) data
  • The report parameter in report RPCKSJA1 is assigned a variant of report RPUKSJA1

Features

You can use this report to:

  • Generate an Excel file with a predefined data structure with sample data (template) for a reference personnel number for a specific period
  • Create a report variant that you can then enter into the Variant for Ext. Municipal Tax field in the Return Transfer (Data Stream Procedure FinanzOnline) area of the report selection screen for report RPCKSJA1.

Selection

Standard Variants

Output

The report does not generate a list and is recommended for use in online mode only.

Activities

Proceed as follows:

  1. Create a template as an Excel file (Generate Template radio button).
  2. Edit the Excel file created in step 1). Adjust the data and amounts in the Excel file to meet your needs.
  3. Replicate the data by coping it to accommodate the number of data records that you need.
  4. Create a report variant for report RPUKSJA1 that contains a valid file name for an Excel file (Save Variant radio button).
  5. Enter the name of the variant in the relevant field in report RPCKSJA1.
  6. Execute report RPCKSJA1. The report issues a warning message at the bottom of the output list if the data from an Excel file was actually processed.

Notes

Make sure you do not change the first two lines in the Excel file in any way since the report requires these lines for a validity check.

Note that each data field in the Excel file requires values (that are not initial) to allow report RPCKSJA1 to make a correct assignment throughout the data set.
