Purpose

Some of the forms that you submit to the authorities contain the address data of your employees. To reduce the possibility of address errors in these forms, use this report to verify the address data that you enter in the Russia-specific Addresses infotype (0006) with GAR address data.

Features

The report allows you to verify the correctness of address data in the Addresses infotype (0006) according to GAR address data. In order to make it easier for users to deal with numerous errors in Addresses (0006) infotype records, the report has been integrated into the Notification Tool and supports the notification procedure for area MD and subarea ADDRESS. All error and warning messages generated during the run are transferred to the central storage of tasks in the Notification Tool and can then be displayed and edited there. For more information about Notification Tool, see Customizing activity Notification Tool -> Overview and the processing steps described in the Activities section.

The report can be run in foreground and background mode.

Selection

Output

Output is in the SAP List Viewer (ALV). The report displays statistics in the log and list of person-specific messages.

You can also find the messages in the Notification Tool central storage created for area MD and subarea ADDRESS.

Activities

See below for a description of the steps in the process for verifying address data:

Activity Processing Steps
Run the GAR Checker report in background mode You or the responsible user do the following:
- Run this report from the SAP Easy Access Menu for Human Resources under Payroll -> Europe -> Russia -> Country-Specific Tools -> Address Database -> GAR Tools -> Check Address Infotype with GAR Data (transaction HRPADRU_GAR_CHECKER).
- Create a variant for the selection of employee data from the Addresses (0006) infotype.
- Execute the report in background mode for the selected variant.
- Schedule the background job and check its status.
As described above, during the report run (whether in background or foreground mode), all error and warning messages are transferred to the central task list in the Notification Tool and must then be processed there.
Process the task list in Notification Tool for area MD and subarea ADDRESS You or the responsible user (or group of users) do the following:
- Run a report from Notification Tool under SAP Easy Access Menu for Human Resources under Payroll -> Europe -> Russia -> Subsequent Activities -> Period-Independent -> Notification Tool. For example, run Task List of a User, Task List of an Administrator Group, or Task List with Free Selection.
- Open the task list created by the GAR Checker report for area MD and subarea ADDRESS which you can process.
- Select a task and set the status to In Process to show other users that the task is already being processed.
- Click the symbol displayed in column Master Data to drill down directly to the linked Addresses (0006) infotype record and make the required correction according to the error description.
- Change the status to Completed after completing the task.
- Click the Refresh Display button. The completed task is deleted from your working list.
