Purpose

This report uploads the employees' opt out information present in the spreadsheet (saved in CSV format) on to the Opt Out tab of Pensions Reform (3297) infotype and at the same time it updates Pension Details(0071) and National Insurance Details (0069) if those columns have been supplied. (Also, in the case where the employee has been auto-enrolled whilst in an arrears payroll and is now opting out, the employee's Earliest Master Data Change Date (RRDAT) on their Payroll Control (0003) will be back-dated to the date in which the first auto-enrolment contributions were taken).

Note

Opting-Out (by Non-Eligible Jobholders that have opted in or Eligible Jobholders that have been Auto-Enroled) means that the IT0071 record that was created now needs to be deleted. So the DELETE column needs to be set.

Contractual Leaving (by any category of worker) is performed according to the scheme rules and so the DELETE column should only be set if the scheme rules allow a full refund otherwise the NEW_ENDDA field should be used instead to delimit the IT0071 record.

Integration

Prerequisites

The CSV file must have the same column format is the structure P08_PAE_OO_FILE and dates in the CSV file must either be DD.MM.YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY (no other format will be converted correctly).

Features

Selection

On the selection screen, specify the following:

  1. In the Opt-Out Data File field select the path of the CSV file saved on your Workstation (PC).
  2. In the Processing Optionsgroup box, select the Test Mode checkbox if you want the system to execute the report in the test mode.
  3. In the Outputoptions box , you can select the ALV layoutsfor the possible ALVs that you may view as part of the output of this report. This is especially important if you are running this report in background.
  4. Choose Program -> Execute.

To access this report on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Human Resources -> Payroll -> Europe -> Great Britain -> Subsequent Activities -> Per payroll period -> Reporting -> Pension Auto Enrolment (PAE) -> OPT-OUT Update Program.
