Title

Purpose

Report RPUSPCT1 - automatical upgrading Post Codes (PSC) in SAP form external file from Czech Post.

Integration

Post Codes (PSC) in SAP are stored in table T5T51.

Prerequisites

External ASCII file on the corresponding code page contains Post Code and name of post office.

Format of file is TXT or PRN (export Excel)

File for update/reading Post Code into table T5T51 is free downloadable on the Czech Post web at www.ceskaposta.cz/ke-stazeni/zakaznicke-vystupy. To update/read Post Codes into the SAP system, use file "Post office list with addresses" (file ZV_POSTY.XLS), which must be converted into the PRN format.

Selection

Insert input name of file (including file path).

Use the "Save loaded values" parameter to choose, when will be the loaded data stored into table T5T51.

Select "Postal code with 6 digits ?" in case when Post Code in external file is in format XXX XX. When Post Code is in short format XXXXX, fill parameter with empty value (in this case will format converted into 6 places format which is the basic format Post Codes in system)

Select "List of extinct post offices" to display list of defunct posts (i.e. posts from table T5T51 not present in the loaded external file).

Select "List of new offices" to display list of new posts (i.e. posts from external file with Post Codes not present in table T5T51).

Use "Display T5T51 table" to display list of posts from table T5T51.

Into input parameters insert offset and length for name of post and Post Code every time.

Use the "Fill in validity of the T5T51 record" parameter to enter validity records in table T5T51 form 1.1.1990 (BEGDA) to 31.12.9999 (ENDDA). Use this parameter when LCP CE (SP) with extend structure of table T5T51 (extend record for BEGDA and ENDDA) was applied but records weren't updated by now. ATTENTION: Funcionality of parameter "Fill in validity of the T5T51 record" is separated and does not affect other selected parameters. To update other changes in table T5T51, parameter "Fill in validity of the T5T51 record" must be empty!
